The goal of MIQ – The Reporting and Information Portal for anti-LGBTQIA discrimination in NRW – is to comprehensively document and evaluate the extent of anti-LGBTQIA discrimination in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). They provide structures for affected people or organisations and witnesses to report incidents of anti-LGBTQIA discrimination. These reports are then anonymized and analyzed. They help to shed light upon the number of unreported cases of anti-LGBTQIA discrimination.
I was asked to illustrate and animate an explainer video for the report function on www.miq.nrw. Based on a script by the client I put together a storyboard, styleframes and illustrated characters and backgrounds.
